Performance of ‘Living Nativity’ 2025 on the following dates:
4 to 7 p.m. at the village of Oliveto - Civitella in Val di Chiana - Arezzo.
** On Friday, 12/26/2025, His Most Reverend Excellency Monsignor Andrea Migliavacca, Bishop of the Diocese of Arezzo-Cortona-Sansepolcro, will come to visit the ‘Living Nativity’.

The Living Nativity of Oliveto was born in 2014 out of the desire of some parishioners to experience Christmas in a different way than usual.
Since then, a Christmas to be experienced together! To offer a unique and exciting experience, re-enacting the magic of the Nativity in an exciting and evocative way, in the wonderful village of Oliveto.
The re-enactment stands out for its originality, offering new and engaging sets and performances each year, making the event a must-attend event for young and old alike.

In person: every Sunday morning at the ‘Church of Oliveto’ after the 11:20 a.m. Holy Mass.
At the hamlet of Oliveto in the municipality of Civitella in Val di Chiana in the province of Arezzo. A 10-minute drive from the A1 highway exit of Arezzo, 10 minutes from the A1 highway exit of Monte San Savino and 25 minutes from the city of Arezzo.
Alternatively, you can use the free shuttle service from the sports field of the Polysport Hotel Oliveto.
If you are visiting at the Christmas markets in the city of Arezzo (Arezzo city of Christmas, Christmas markets Arezzo) you can drive to the village of Oliveto, which is only 10 minutes from the A1 toll gate.
